There are two commonly known types of solar energy:

· Solar collectors produce heat – thermal energy (heating domestic water or space heating).

· Solar cells produce electrical energy (electricity).

ARCON Solar works exclusively with termal solar installations. Thermal solar energy is a proven and effective technology, in addition to hot water and space heating can also be used for various process applications, including cooling.

ARCON designs large-scale systems (industrial process heat, housing construction, swimming baths, hotels, camping sites, etc.) with extensive hot-water use and in very large-scale collective systems connected to district heating plants and CHP systems. In these plants, solar energy is often used in combination with biomass such as wood pellets, wood chips and straw.
